Accessibility statement
Infinum believes digital products should work for everyone, regardless of ability, device, or circumstance. We build accessibility into how we think, consult, design and develop, every day, as a standing part of our process rather than a step we bolt on at the end. This statement sets out where we stand today: on our own website, in the products we build for clients, and in the wider work we do to move the industry forward.
Accessibility of this website
We’re working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. This is an ongoing process: we review the site regularly and fix issues as we find them.
What we’re doing:
1
Designing with accessibility as a starting requirement, not a fix applied afterward
2
Using semantic HTML and accessible components so the site works well with screen readers and other assistive technology
3
Testing pages by navigating with a keyboard alone and with screen readers, not just by eye
4
Reviewing against WCAG success criteria more broadly, including color contrast and touch targets
5
Combining automated scans with regular manual audits, so issues get caught early rather than piling up
Known limitations:
1
Some older video content doesn’t yet have closed captions. All new video is captioned, and we’re working through the backlog.
2
Some third-party embeds (such as maps, forms, or booking widgets) may not fully meet these standards, since we don’t control their code directly.
This site is currently in partial conformance with WCAG 2.2 AA, and we’re actively closing the gaps above.
Accessibility of our products
Accessibility is built into how we work with clients, not treated as an add-on. Our design and development teams follow our internal Accessibility Handbook, which covers accessible design, mobile standards (Android, iOS, and Flutter), and QA testing practices. We also have accessibility champions embedded across project teams, who keep the topic on the agenda day to day and flag concerns early.
Many projects also go through a dedicated accessibility review, and our team includes IAAP-certified specialists, holding both Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) and Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) credentials, who can advise on and audit projects in depth.
That said, the products we build are ultimately owned and maintained by our clients, who make their own decisions about implementation and upkeep. We can’t guarantee compliance on their behalf, but we can make sure any issue you raise reaches the right people.
Reporting an accessibility issue
If you hit a barrier on this website, or on a product built by Infinum, we want to know. Contact us at accessibility@infinum.com
Please include the page or product name, what you were trying to do, and, if possible, the assistive technology or browser you were using. We aim to acknowledge reports within five business days. For issues on our own site, we’ll work to address them directly; for client products, we’ll pass the report on to the relevant team and client and follow up with you on the outcome.
AI and accessibility
Used carelessly, AI tools can quietly undermine accessibility: markup without proper semantics, images without meaningful alt text, interfaces that look right but don’t work with assistive technology. We take that risk seriously.
We also see real potential in AI to improve accessibility, catching issues earlier, speeding up audits, and helping generate better alt text and semantic structure. Any AI-assisted design or code goes through the same accessibility review as everything else we ship, with a human making the final call.
Beyond our own work
Accessibility gets better when more people understand it, so we invest outside our own projects too:
1
Accessibility Handbook
Our internal knowledge base, published openly and free for anyone to use.
2
Internal champions
The same accessibility advocates working across our project teams also help train new colleagues and spread good practice company-wide.
3
Talks and knowledge-sharing
Free talks and blog content on accessibility, aimed at raising awareness across the industry, not just within Infinum.
4
Industry involvement
Ongoing efforts to bring accessibility into broader conversations in tech, because we believe it shouldn’t be a niche concern.
This is a long-term commitment. We’ll keep learning, keep sharing what we learn, and keep raising our own standards.
Accessibility in employment
If you’re applying for a role at Infinum, we’ll make every reasonable effort to provide accommodations that give you equal access to our recruitment process and workplace, regardless of disability. If you need an adjustment at any stage, whether application, interview, or onboarding, let your recruitment contact know and we’ll arrange it with you.
Feedback and updates
This statement is reviewed periodically as our practices evolve.
