Leader in Direct Air Capture technology

Skytree, a Dutch climate tech scale-up spun out of the European Space Agency, designs and manufactures Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology to remove CO₂ directly from the air. With the ambition to become the number one DAC provider globally, they envisioned a digital presence that could support their scale-up momentum.


Their existing website, designed using Webflow’s no-code platform, fell short. It lacked a straightforward narrative to explain their mission, had no scalable CMS to enable global marketing teams to work efficiently, and didn’t generate qualified leads.

Breathing fresh air into Skytree’s digital identity

For Skytree to assert industry leadership, the site had to be rebuilt from the ground up. We began by reworking Skytree’s brand narrative, defining how to clearly communicate the value of DAC and the company’s vision for decentralized carbon capture.

From this foundation, we defined a bold new digital identity and developed a scalable platform built for growth. The new site extends Skytree’s refreshed brand identity into a modular design system that balances science with storytelling. 



The clear information architecture ensures that each audience, from investors to engineers, can navigate seamlessly. On the tactical side, integrations with HubSpot and multilingual support give Skytree the tools to engage globally.

Launchpad for global climate impact

The redesign was more than a cosmetic update — it transformed how Skytree informs, engages, and converts.

Launched in sync with Skytree’s presence at GreenTech 2025, the new website streamlines team workflows and strengthens the brand’s authority in climate tech.

CMS built for scale

At the core of the build is Storyblok CMS, set up to enable Skytree’s marketing team to operate with maturity and autonomy.

Using our beloved LEGO component system, we created a flexible library of modules that allows the team to build and update pages independently, scale content across multiple use cases, markets, and languages, as well as adapt workflows quickly as the company grows.



Built according to MACH standards, this modular CMS setup ensures the platform will evolve in step with Skytree’s ambitions.

The design system was created to show authority with bold, confident visuals that reflect industry leadership. Interactive elements and dynamic layouts bring the brand to life while ensuring accessibility and clarity.
