A dedicated, motivated, and hands-on person ready to take on the everyday challenges of supporting 370+ employees.
Our Finance & Administration team has 6 members, combining expertise in accounting, payroll, and administrative operations to manage a wide range of responsibilities and–sometimes unexpected–employee inquiries. In short, we take care of all the behind-the-scenes work that keeps a 370-person company with international clients running smoothly.
While each of us has a specific focus, we regularly share tasks and support one another on different projects. Together, we handle everything from payroll and travel expenses to client invoices, employee onboarding, records, payroll, and benefits. With employees working across different locations and under various contracts, our work is anything but routine. But we handle the details so smoothly, you’d almost think the company runs itself.

Qualifications & Experience
- at least two years of experience in administrative tasks, such as dealing with vacation administration, health insurance and pension insurance funds, policies, and regulations
- practical experience with Croatian labor law and tax regulations
- good knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in Croatian and English
- outstanding organizational skills, systematic approach, and detail-oriented personality
- strong sense of discretion and confidentiality
- ability to adapt to changing priorities

Your responsibilities
- performing all administrative tasks, such as managing employment contracts, vacation policies, and ensuring compliance with regulations
- entering new employees into all officially maintained databases and records
- ensuring correct and accurate personnel administration (processing changes in surname, residence, and job position)
- managing the administrative part of different employee benefits
- reparation of documentation on the use of annual leave and non-taxable benefits
- creating annual leave schedules
- keeping records of working hours and assisting with payroll by providing relevant employee information (e.g., leaves of absence, sick days, etc.)
- recording copyright contracts
- producing periodic metric reports
- drafting contracts for parking spaces and ensuring proper management of related deductions in the accounting software
- employee registrations and de-registrations with the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute (HZMO)
- submission of a sick leave claim to the Croatian Health Insurance Fund submission of reimbursement requests to ZOSI
- ad hoc reports required by government institutions (HZMO, HZZO)

The selection process

First interview
You talk to the Talent Partner leading you through the selection process. You get to know Infinum, your potential future team and position, while we also get to know you.

Live assignment
Designed to show you the kind of tasks you will meet with regularly and to give you a better insight into the position itself. It also gives us an insight into your skills and experience with relevant technologies.

Online testing
You solve a couple of psychological tests that usually include personality tests, logical sequences, and performance and concentration tests, which give us an insight into your character, capacities, and aptitudes.

Meet the Team
This is where you get the chance to mingle with your potential future teammates. You can ask questions, get some practical information first-hand, and check out how it all feels in practice. It goes both ways, of course.

Final interview
You talk to the CFO, Accounting manager, VP of Human Resources and a Talent Partner. You get a deeper insight into the position and our expectations, while we get the opportunity to ask you more specific questions.

Offer
All going well, in this stage we send you the offer, which includes all the information from salary details and vacation days to other perks and benefits of working at Infinum.

Office 365
We use a lot of their services, but Excel is our go-to most of the time.
Contractbook
We use Contractbook for managing the entire lifecycle of contracts. It allows us to create, sign and store legal documents all in one place.
CPP
This software helps us take care of our finances and payroll.
