A responsible, detail-oriented legal officer to assist with various business development activities, stay on top of compliance regulations, and help strengthen our growing legal team.

The legal team at Infinum works hand-in-hand with other departments to ensure compliance, minimize risks, and protect the integrity of our operations. Together, we secure the company’s interests while supporting continued growth.
As our Legal Officer, you’ll tackle various tasks: conducting legal research, ensuring compliance, assessing risks, collaborating with partners, and drafting contracts. You’ll stay on top of legal trends that impact our business and gain valuable experience across multiple industries and business contexts.
Zagreb office requirement
While this role requires you to primarily work from our Zagreb office to foster close collaboration with our team, occasional remote days can be arranged as needed.

Qualifications & Experience
- a law degree
- at least 2 years of experience in relevant legal areas within the IT industry or a law firm
- excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both Croatian and English
- relevant general legal knowledge and a good understanding of basic legal institutions typical for a business environment
- working knowledge of EU data protection, security, commercial, labor, and IP law
- strong sense of discretion and confidentiality
- outstanding organizational skills, systematic approach, and detail-oriented personality
- ability to adapt to changing priorities
Bonus points
- experience with M&As
- successful completion of the bar exam

Your responsibilities
- communicating and cooperating with Legal Affairs Director, and our external lawyers on a regular basis
- providing legal assistance and advice to our business development, project management, and human resources teams
- drafting and reviewing contracts
- monitoring internal processes related to the fulfillment of legal and contractual obligations of the company
- monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements, with an emphasis on GDPR, security, and labor regulations
- researching relevant legal matters
The selection process

First interview
You talk to the Talent Partner leading you through the selection process. You get acquainted with Infinum, your potential future team and position, while we also get to know you.

Online assignment
Designed to show you the kind of tasks you will meet regularly and to give you a better insight into the position itself. It also gives us an insight into your skills and experience with relevant technologies.

Online testing
You solve a couple of psychological tests that usually include personality tests, logical sequences, and performance and concentration tests, which give us an insight into your character, capacities, and aptitudes.

Final interview
You talk to the Legal Affairs Director, Chief Client Officer and a Talent Partner. You get a deeper insight into the position and our expectations, while we get the opportunity to ask you more specific questions.

Offer
All going well, in this stage we send you the offer, which includes all the information from salary details, vacation days, and educational budget, to other perks and benefits of working at Infinum.
