WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a detail-oriented software tester to make sure the products we deploy are fully functional and error-free.
Infinum’s QA team is key in making sure our products work like a charm, benefitting our clients and end users alike. Made up of 40+ unique professionals so passionate about detecting imperfections that people think twice before inviting them for dinner, the team works closely with developers, project managers, designers, clients, and is an integral part of our software development process. With our experienced testers as your mentors, you’ll receive all the training and answers you need to become independent quickly.
Our QA specialists have the opportunity to work on diverse projects for world-renowned clients in various industries – finance, healthcare, automotive, lighting, and many others. With over 250 physical devices at their disposal and well-established processes in place, they test web apps, mobile apps, IoT systems, or any other innovative solution built by our production teams.
Other than meticulousness and a can-do attitude, software testers at Infinum employ tools like Testrail, Figma, Postman, Selenium, BrowserStack, GitHub, and Proxyman.

Qualifications & expectations
- a student with a strong interest in IT, technology, and software development, able to work a minimum of 30 hours a week
- being able to work on-site from our Zagreb office
- willingness to learn – you won’t have to become a developer, designer, or project manager, but you will have to learn and understand all aspects of the software development process to do your job well
- attention to detail – the devil’s in the details, and you need to catch what others might overlook
- communication skills – a large part of your work will involve direct communication with clients and colleagues, so you should excel at being clear and concise
- fluency in English
- no prior professional experience is required, but could be considered a plus
Bonus points
- experience in software testing
- experience in agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
- experience in coding and software development of any kind
- experience in test case management using Testrail, Xray or similar tools
- experience in using Selenium, Appium or other test automation tools
- experience in using Postman or other API testing tools
- experience in UI or UX design

FAQ
What kind of tasks will I be doing?
You’ll be responsible for writing test cases, manually executing tests, and reporting bugs. Your focus will be on identifying functional issues, UI/UX inconsistencies, broken links and buttons, compatibility issues between browsers and devices, content errors, crashes, and more. Since bug reporting is a key part of the role, you’ll need to keep track of found issues and communicate findings clearly.
Who will I be working with?
You will closely collaborate with designers, developers, project managers, and other stakeholders. Clear communication with different teams is key, as your role plays a crucial part in ensuring product quality.
Will I be doing automated testing in this role?
No, this position focuses on manual testing. You’ll be testing applications manually, exploring different scenarios, writing test cases, and reporting bugs. If you’re primarily interested in automation, this might not be the best fit.

Slack
We use Slack for work and fun. It’s our go-to tool for maintaining sanity both in the office and remotely.

Selenium
Our weapon of choice for writing functional UI tests. Our language of choice is Python.
Postman
It’s not all about the UI. We use Postman to test our APIs and even monitor their health in production.
Proxyman
Sometimes we want to eavesdrop on the discussion between the app and the API. That’s when Proxyman comes in handy.
Browserstack
We have a lot of browsers and test devices at our disposal, but not all of them. Browserstack helps fill that void.
Firebase & Crashlytics
Whenever we want to monitor app health in production or understand how the app is actually used, we often turn to Firebase and its accompanying tools.
GitHub
All of our work is on GitHub. Everything goes through pull requests and code reviews with your future team members.
CircleCI
We use CircleCI for running automated tests without any need for our intervention.
