Product Owner

Product Owners at Porsche Digital Croatia play a crucial role in product development. By shaping the product’s vision and closely collaborating with cross-functional teams, product owners strive to maximize the product’s business value. 

You will be responsible for driving the vision and business goals for a complex backend solution that enables various digital services and addons inside the Porsche Digital products ecosystem.

Who are we
looking for?

& Experience
  • someone with a university degree in informatics, electrical engineering, or computing with an interest in the business side of the project as well, or someone with a university degree in economics with extensive experience in managing digital products
  • 3+ years of experience in defining or implementing digital projects
  • experience delivering a couple of major products in the role of a product owner
  • experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • understanding of safety, security, privacy, and legal aspects related to digital products
  • good ability to design interfaces and resilient software structures
  • experience with requirements engineering and solution engineering in a complex environment
  • experience working with project management tools such as Jira
  • experience working within SAFe will be considered an advantage
  • ability to synthesize information and prioritize business goals
  • ability to effectively communicate recommendations to a broad range of audiences, including leadership, internal business clients, and technical developers
  • ability to prioritize and manage work in a fast-paced environment
  • above-average decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • high sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • excellent command of written and spoken English
  • working closely with local and remote product teams
  • defining a clear product mission & vision together with the product manager
  • facilitating communication among all stakeholders and product teams with the goal to define product roadmaps and develop business cases and success metrics
  • the primary communicator and link between stakeholders and teams (translation of business to tech and vice versa)
  • shaping stakeholder requests into well-defined and ready-to-build features within the scope of the product vision
  • defining and writing user stories and acceptance criteria
  • working closely with a team of backend, frontend, and DevOps engineers
  • anticipating challenges, balancing business needs and technical or operational limitations
  • driving day-to-day prioritization of work operations, projects, and scope; troubleshooting reported issues and escalating when appropriate
  • keeping work within the determined process framework (SAFe)
  • cooperating and coordinating with the Scrum Master
  • openly and regularly informing the stakeholders about the product’s growth and progress
  • gathering customer feedback to validate that the product works against established metrics
  • working with the team toward maximizing the business value of the product

We use Productive for time tracking, budgeting and project management. It helps us to have all the information in one place.
On some projects, we also use Jira for product development/task management.
We use Figma for collaborating on designing our projects. It helps us to deliver value to our customers more efficiently.
We use Miro as a visual collaboration platform to share ideas and communicate across the team.
We use TestRail as a test case management tool so we can keep an eye on our projects.
We use Slack for work and for fun. It’s our go-to tool for maintaining sanity both in-office and remote.
O365 helps us get our work done and communicate on a daily basis. From networking to data sharing.
We use Confluence as a collaboration tool that helps our teams cooperate and share knowledge efficiently.
Through the years, we’ve built a vast repository of knowledge related to project management and agile methodologies.
