Qualifications
& Experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a full-stack developer
  • you have an entrepreneurial, proactive mindset
  • experience working in a self-driven agile environment 
  • ideally, you have experience with hands-on, early-stage, cross-functional product teams and short feedback loops
  • you’re comfortable with working on long-term projects & cooperations, and not switching projects every day
  • excellent command of English
As a backend developer,
you should be experienced with
  • Node.js (with TypeScript preferably)
  • Express
  • Passport
  • MongoDB (or other NoSQL databases)
  • AWS stack (CDK, Lambda, S3, etc.)
As a frontend developer,
you should be experienced with
  • React (preferably with TypeScript, React Hooks)
  • CSS (css-in-js or good old SCSS)
  • Next.js
  • Payment gateway providers (Stripe)
  • Any kind of state management (MobX, Redux, React state)
You’ll get an extra edge if
you’ve worked with
  • Gatsby
  • PWAs
  • React Native
  • Netlify
Your
responsibilities
  • defining and building mobile (React Native) or full-stack applications from the ground up for future digital products in the mobility segment for Porsche Digital
  • developing implementations and interfaces to enable future services and applications, developing connectivity requirements and specifications that will influence future production systems

Tools we use

GitHub
All of our work is on Github. Everything goes through pull requests and code reviews with your future team members.
Postman or Paw
With Postman and Paw we can consume and test APIs. It is an enormous lifesaver. Yeah sure, you can do all of that with cURL, but c’mon, we live in 2020.
Visual Studio Code
We build our applications using the latest version of Visual Studio Code.
Sketch
For designing UX and UI for both mobile and web, we also use Sketch.
iTerm or Hyper
iTerm or Hyper will allow you to customize your terminal really easy. And OhMyZSH will give you superpowers, like autocomplete, git support and anything in between you would like.
Productive
We use Productive for time tracking, budgeting and project management. It helps us to have all the information in one place.
Slack
We use Slack for work and fun. It’s our go-to tool for maintaining sanity both in the office and remote.

Go-to place for assorted collection of practices used within the team and company.
